Paralegal/Legal Operations Professional Full Time

About the job

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-orientated paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide vital support in legal research, contract management, compliance and other matters. You will work closely with our General Counsel and other departments, including sales, HR, finance and product development, to ensure the company’s legal requirements are met.

This role is part-time, set at 20 hours per week.

Looking for candidates in the US (EST timezone) but open to the UK for the right candidate. Applicants in other timezones will not be considered (even if they are willing to adjust their working hours, we don’t think it’s healthy)

Your responsibilities:

Contract Management

• Take ownership of contract management, by ensuring accurate documentation within a contract database; and managing the contract renewal process
• draft, review and revise vendor terms, NDAs, SOW changes for CSMs and other legal documents
• send documents for signature

HR compliance

• Take full responsibility for HR compliance (and associated processes) in all EU jurisdictions- including:
• Draft and update policies to accommodate and align with CDCK global policies
• Manage mandatory HR processes specific to jurisdictions
• Provide support to ensure EU HR policies and processes remain up to date

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a paralegal or as a legal operations professional
• Software industry experience
• Previous stakeholder of contracts management systems, previously supported employment law function, familiar with contract review

The ability to communicate well in writing is paramount. We use our own software, Discourse, for most communication and the vast majority of your interaction with customers and team members will be in writing. In order to live these values, we look for folks who are:
